DAVE ROOKE, President & GM

Dave was named Chairman of the Toronto Construction Association (TCA) in 1995 and was awarded the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) Trade Contractor Man of the Year designation in 2000.

Dave was also Chairman of the Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association of Ontario, on the National Board, the National Labour Agreement Negotiating Committee and a Trustee of the National Sprinkler Fitters Pension Fund.

Dave's work history is extensive having been past President & CEO of Vipond Fire Protection (which became the largest sprinkler contractor in Canada during his tenure).

During his 37+ years in the fire protection industry, Dave has been involved in countless projects of all sizes and varying complexity alongside all of Canada's leading general contractors.

Today; Dave tirelessly continues his pursuit of protecting life and property from fire and applies his experience and knowledge each day as President and General Manager of

Sales & Estimating

ADAM ROOKE, Sales Manager

Adam commenced his career writing a 1500+ page procedures manual for Vipond Fire Protection at age 16 while leading the Vipond Head Office to ISO 9001 certification (1st in the industry to achieve) in an unprecedented 9 months.

This lead to a subsequent national rollout program for 35 branch offices coast to coast while playing competitive hockey and completing his studies by correspondence.

From an early age Adam has been exposed to the construction and the fire protection industries and has successfully owned and operated many businesses himself including the development of 13 residential homes, managing hundreds of rental properties and several software companies.

Today; Adam applies his past experiences, understanding of the construction and fire protection industries and his natural business acumen as Sales Manager of Ridge Fire Protection Inc.

Cad Design & P Eng Services

STAN BURDZINSKI, Design Manager

Stan graduated highschool and commenced his career working directly in the fire protection industry.

During his 35 years of experience designing sprinkler systems for major commercial projects such as the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, the Exchange Tower, the First Canadian Place, the BMO Tower in Toronto and the Windsor Casino.

His influential role as a highly qualified professional cad designer brings unparalleled knowledge and experience to the fire protection industry.

Stan is communicative, dependable, good natured and continues to learn sprinkler codes and building codes so they can be applied to your sprinkler system design.

Stan is an integral asset to the Ridge Fire Protection team and we are proud to have him onboard as our Design Manager for Ridge Fire Protection Inc.

Installation & Certification

AL PANTTILA,

Field Operations Manager

Al has been our Niagara Area Foreman since his commencement with us at Ridge Fire and similarly has also been in the sprinkler trade since 2002.

Our Field Operations Manager is responsible for all field hiring, firing or laying off decisions and the allocations of men to projects and is in full control of the Ridge Fire shop and yard.

We are very proud of the quality of workmanship and expertise that we provide to our customers on a daily basis. Al is responsible for demonstrating and enforcing our standards in the Field that are recognized throughout the marketplace.
